| Suggestions for Databases or e-Journals |
| NISC searches worldwide for high-quality data files to use in the creation of new products or to add to its existing products. We welcome your suggestions, no matter the size, scope, or electonic format of a particular database. If you are aware of a file that would be valuable to your profession, please contact the Publisher at NISC (Publisher@nisc.com). While many databases are available from multiple vendors, or are simply loaded onto the Internet, availability is not the same thing as accessiblity. Thousands of customers, and over a hundred data suppliers, choose NISC because of our software technologies and wide variety of database services. | NISC Database Anthologies |
| NISC excels in publishing anthologies of databases, or several databases merged into a single file. Anthologies are invaluable resources, greater than the sum of their parts. Many include databases drawn from a host of different countries, universities, professional societies, and print publishers. The databases can be searched concurrently (in any combination) or separately. If an electronic thesaurus has been developed to index any of the databases, NISC provides it as an aid to powerful, automated searching. NISC's anthology titles range from specialized topics, such as Arctic & Antarctic Regions, to issues of broad appeal such as the Family & Society Studies Worldwide database. |
